The succession of crimes in the trains and the insecurity of today trouble the passengers who use this transportation on a daily basis.
The Department of the Interior will start up next Friday the Alert program Train in the General railroad Roca that will count on different actions to fight the crime.

They promise that there will be police in all the stations and can be reached via cellular telephone by:* and 31416. This already it works in other railway branches of the North zone and in the Buenos Aires Metro’s and in the next 30 days they will have cameras for security, at least at 11 stations, and soon this will be completed in a term of six months.

Fernandez Garrido, adviser of security of the Minister of the Interior stated that “the ministry, along with the Undersecretary’s office of Railway Transport, will activate a modern security system that will count on the incorporation of personnel of the Federal Police.
Call:* 31416 via a cellular telephone and any passenger can denounce a criminal fact to the police and they will act immediately in the stations.

The government tries to create a safer place when travelers go by train,
the objective is that people travel calmer.
In addition there will be women police to take care of tie denunciations with crimes of sexual nature. “We want that the communication between the police and the denouncer is easy, dynamic and less uncomfortable possible”.
Starting from next Friday in 30 days, a group of promoters of the ministry will offer more information to the passenger on all the 67 stations of the different branches of the railroad; also they will install 11 cameras for security reasons.
Test results had already proven the success of this plan, because with 50 percent the crime was reduced.
